NEW YORK CITY--A homeless man with a tape measure pronounced quirky rock band They Might Be Giants "possibly tall" yesterday.

"I gather these boys were confused about whether or not they are giants," explained hobo James Ensor. "I wish I could set the record straight, but the results are inconclusive."

Band member John Flansburgh clarified, "The band members are not the 'they' referenced in the name." When asked to expand, Flansburgh punched dead president James K. Polk in the genitals.
