Tabloid Reveals MLK White

TAMPA, FL--The National Inquisitor revealed that civil rights activist Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was not, as normally assumed, black in its latest issue.

"Dr. King was a white man," wrote news hound Albert Sharpe. "Dr. King cared deeply about the plight of African-Americans in this country because his forefathers were vicious slave-owners."

The American Association for the Advancement of Colored Persons called Sharpe's research, "laughable" and "patently false," and called upon the National Inquisitor to issue a prompt retraction.

"Mr. Sharpe didn't bother talking to anyone that knew Dr. King," said AAACP President Herb Young. "He was relying primarily upon a Photoshopped photograph and the testimony of the dolphins at SeaWorld."

"If only he had talked to the sea lions," he added.
