D and Chris vacationed in Oahu. The camera, unfortunately, was left in the hotel room throughout most of the trip. Except, as documented here, during the sweaty climb up Diamond Head.

D and Dina hiked the Skyline Ridge trail at Paradise in Mt. Rainier National Park. It was a beautiful summer day!

During Chris's last two years on The Medium, he managed to keep the paper's camera in his possession more of the time than was probably fair. Of course, the camera was a piece of shit, saving pitifully low resolution images to floppy disks, wholly unsuitable for publication, but used nevertheless. Fast forward a couple of years. Chris was forced by the evil Washington Bar Association to shell out tens of dollars for an external floppy drive (a required backup for the impending exam). Chris also, in the process of moving, discovered ten unmarked floppies or so, lurking in the bottom of his desk drawer. He put one and one together while avoiding studying. And discovered eighty or so images from when he had significant control over the camera. Here they are. Some are not interesting in the slightest to anyone. But if one filters through, one is bound to find something worthwhile.

D left Moscow before she had a serious opportunity to create the massive flower and vegetable producer of yesteryear. But the residue of her previous efforts is still mighty nice.

D and Chris drove a couple of hours West to Palouse River Falls State Park, home of a portion of the Palouse River that happens to "fall" a number of meters.
